Is my photo sent to an AI to remove the background?

No. Background removal runs entirely in your browser, on your device. Only the finished result gets uploaded to your private wardrobe.

And for automatic tagging?

For that, we use an AI-powered image analysis – but only if you've given your consent. You'll find the switch for this in your account, under Privacy.

Does background removal cost extra?

No. It runs on every plan, including the free one – precisely because it happens on your device and doesn't need any outside servers.

Why does the very first upload take a bit longer?

The first time, your browser downloads the background-removal technology once, from our servers. You'll see exactly how far the download has gotten. After that, it starts without this extra step.

Background Removal & Tagging

Cut out on your device. Sorted with smarts.

Every piece you upload to your Try It wardrobe gets its background removed and gets sorted automatically. What's special isn't that we can do this. It's where it happens.
